Arise Counselling

"Believing change is possible"

Welcome

I am a fully qualified, cisgender counsellor who works with young people and adults. I am fully insured and a registered member of the BACP.

I work creatively, introducing a variety of approaches in our work together.

I work in the heart of Falmouth, close to the hospital, on Trescobeas Rd. I have a cosy, converted cabin in my garden, Clover Cabin, assuring to provide you with a warm, safe setting for our work.

Clover cabin will provide a space to explore any difficulties which arise for you in a safe, therapeutic and confidential environment.

1.

Depression

Depression is when hopelessness feels persistent and interferes with daily living.

Counselling may help to understand the deep rooted causes and explore ways to alleviate depressive symptoms.

2.

Addiction

Addiction is a difficulty in managing repetitive behaviours that may have damaging consequences.

Counselling may help to recognise the triggers that are causing this pain and suffering and strategies for managing dependency.

3.

Anxiety

Anxiety is all consuming. We can feel overloaded by circumstances that we may find stressful, this in turn impacts daily living.
Counselling may help to identify triggers, explore underlying issues that cause anxiety and find helpful strategies to manage these difficult periods.

4.

Grief and loss

Grief and bereavement is the devastating pain experienced in loss.

Counselling may help in coping with pain and your own process of grief and loss.
