Counselling provides a safe, therapeutic, and confidential space to explore the difficulties that arise for you, with a view to enabling the changes that you seek in your life.
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor and an individual member of the BACP. This means that my therapeutic approach is tailored to your specific needs, encompassing a range of theories and methods in our work together. As a humanistic counsellor, I believe that we all have the capacity for growth, healing, and change.
Originally I worked as a qualified nurse, working in both acute and community settings. I have since been working in education for 20 years. I have experience counselling in both a college setting and private practice, working creatively with adults, students, teenagers and young adults.
